"We are called to be a generation of storytellers who got it right...

to capture who people are within the four corners of our frame."

Mary Marantz

Hi!  Thanks for stopping by.  I'm so glad you're here.  This is where I tell you a little about me so let's pretend we're having coffee, or skinny vanilla lattes as the case would more likely be...

I've been photographing people since I was on yearbook staff my junior year of high school.  I wish I could tell you that it was during that time that I realized my calling to photography and spent the next twenty plus years walking that path, but the truth is that I was too busy chasing boys and writing poetry about unrequited love to realize how deeply I loved looking through that lens.

I specialize in natural light, outdoor portraiture of families, high school seniors, engaged couples and more.  I think that photographs are one of our most priceless possessions and believe quality photography should be within the reach of everyone.

Other random details:  I'm a born-and-raised Birmingham girl, UAB grad (Go Blazers!), Jesus girl, wife, mom of two teenagers, occasional freelance writer and if I could eat only one thing for the rest of my life it would be probably be chips and salsa.
