"We are called to be a generation of storytellers who got it right...
to capture who people are within the four corners of our frame."
Mary Marantz

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. I'm so glad you're here. This is where I tell you a little about me so let's pretend we're having coffee, or skinny vanilla lattes as the case would more likely be...

I've been photographing people since I was on yearbook staff my junior year of high school... in the late 1900s. I wish I could tell you that it was then that I realized how much I loved looking through that lens and passionately pursued photography, but the truth is that I was too distracted by chasing boys and writing poetry about unrequited teenage love.

I did eventually circle back and take some photography courses while my college degree ended up being in Communication Management. I specialize in natural light, outdoor portraiture of families, high school seniors, engaged couples and more.
Other random details: My day job is with a Denver-based digital healthcare company and I have kept photography as my beloved hobby/side-gig for many years now. I'm a born-and-raised Birmingham girl, UAB grad, mom of two adult children, one giant labradoodle named Tupelo and a few other pets.
